Events Offered: Melee Singles, Melee Doubles

When: April 23rd & April 24th 2016 (Saturday & Sunday)

Location: 801 University City Blvd Blacksburg, VA 24060

Parking: Loads of parking right out front! In addition there is a parking garage attached to the venue (less than 2 minute walking distance)

Food: There are plenty of familiar chain stores close by in addition to unique food options!!! ( A few examples: Subway, Firehouse Subs, PizzaHut, Panera Bread, Highway55, Buffalo Wild Wings, Five Guys, and much much more!!!)

Fees:

-Early Bird Registration: $45 +$10 Per Person For Each Event (This is available until March 23rd 2016 11:59p.m.)

-Late Registration: $65 +$10 Per Person for Each Event (This is available until April 10th 11:59 p.m.)

-Day passes Available onsite: $45 (Access to play friendlies all day! This covers both Saturday AND Sunday)

Rules:

Melee:

*Modified DSR
Game Settings: 4 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit, No Items, Pause Disabled, 2/3 Games
Starter Stages: Yoshi’s Story, Fountain of Dreams, Final Destination, Battlefield, Dream Land
Counter-pick Stages: Pokémon Stadium
Wobbling is legal, Freezing and infinite stalling are not legal
First Stage is decided by banning from the Starter Stages in P1-P2-P2-P1 order
Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character
Following stages decided by winner banning one stage from all starter stages and then loser choosing
Any 3/5 matches such as Grand Finals, there are no stage bans
You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to.

No excessive stalling (this includes abusing Jiggs’ Rising Pound and Mario’s Up-B Wall jump)
